Whether you're a competitive player or simply love the camaraderie, our leagues offer the perfect blend of friendly competition and social connection.
The Men’s League at Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club was founded more than 40 years ago and is still run by a committee of volunteer members today. Twenty Valley is proud to have not only one of the longest running Men’s Leagues in the Niagara region, but also one of the largest Men’s Leagues in all of Ontario.
The Men’s League is a 9-hole league played every Thursday from the beginning of May until mid-September. Members typically play 18 holes on Thursday’s but enter their 9-hole score for the purposes of League play. Players can play at any time on Thursday however the tee sheet is blocked for the exclusive booking by League Members between the times of 12:00pm and 5:00pm.
In early May the Men’s League holds its ever popular “Draft” where team Captains pick the members of their team, in an effort to put together a winning combination of players. Each player will use a “Men’s League only” 9-hole handicap that is recalculated after each week of play. The league typically consists of 10 teams. The team scores each week are made up of Gross and Net scores from the players on the teams. There are also various on-course contests that are held each night.
The season then wraps up in late September with our annual banquet where the members are all treated to an exceptional meal as the year end prizes are awarded to the winning teams as well as some individual awards. This is always a fun evening and truly one that is well attended by the League members.
The fees go towards the weekly and season ending prizes as well as the food during both the Draft night and the year end banquet. Due to the popularity of the League, membership is restricted to Twenty Valley Members only.

Twenty Valley hosts "Couples Night" on Fridays starting in late May. Friday start times vary from 4:00-6:00. There is no entry fee to sign-up. One member of the couple has to be a member of the club.
Entry fee each week for those who participate will be $10/couple to play. The league will run every Friday until Labor day weekend.
The golf league promotes fun and fellowship, good food and drink. Nothing very serious or competitive. It’s all about getting out with your friends and having fun!
The format pairs different couples each week. Couples play format is a 2-couple scramble along with other games such as Couple Alternate Shot.
Will be awarded back to the members Twenty Valley account (credit book) based on the game of the week. We will also award prizes to the lucky winners of random draws. Everyone has a chance to win! All money collected as prize fees will be returned to the players.
Couple's League Committee Members are Gregory Judd and Jim Black.
